Rameswar Dwadasha Linga Shiva Temple, one of the oldest Shiva temples of its own kind is situated on the river bank of Subarnarekha, where there was an old quila beside the jungle near Tapoban.

I visited this place 40 years ago. The temple is made of laterite blocks and all sculptures are curved out of laterite. The rock is not quartzite, it is laterite. Please correct it. I am a geologist.

I visited last year. yea rock is laterite. But it seems that there may be old temple with these pillars. Temple what we see now is made latter.
