NATIONAL POLITICAL PARTY IN WEST BENGAL

As the data reflects on the screen of the satellite TV channels and media that BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) is emerging in the records showing the single highest number of winning candidates occupying party in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly Election 2026, the only National Political Party has been unanimously declared to hold the power of control in the West Bengal Bidhansabha (Legislative Assembly). The opposition All India Trinamool Congress party was able to hold only 80 legislative assembly. The leader of the opposition in the past Trinamool ruled Government Mr. Suvendu Adhikari won both Nandigram and Bhabanipur assembly. He won against the Ex-chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Bhabanipur, Kolkata. She denied to submit the resignation documents to the Governor of West Bengal. His Excellency Honourable Shri R.N. Ravi, the Governor of West Bengal dissolved the Legislative Assembly of West Bengal on 07 May 2026 with the power of the Constitution of Indian by Article 174 of Clause (2) of Sub- Clause (b).
